Court approves additional costs for CASA radar
Johnson County commissioners on Monday approved an additional $5,300 toward the installation of the Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere weather radar unit allocated to the county by the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
“Somebody asked me if I am tall enough to see over it,” Vera Calvin said of the monument unveiled Monday in the plaza outside Burleson City Hall, which has been named in her honor.
